It's an exciting time to join our friendly kitchen team. The restaurant has recently been refurbished, the menus refreshed and we have big and exciting plans for the restaurant and the rest of the hotel.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated chefs to join our friendly kitchen team. Applicants should have a real passion for food and be willing to put in the effort required to provide our customers with an excellent standard of food as instructed by our head chef.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring good hygiene and health and safety at all times.
Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
Preparing ingredients for the team.
Helping with deliveries of stock.
To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
To learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the department.
To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as directed.
Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.
Establishing and maintaining effective inter-departmental working relationships.
