We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated chefs to join our friendly kitchen team. Applicants should have a real passion for food and be willing to put in the effort required to provide our customers with an excellent standard of food as instructed by our head chef.



·         Ensuring good hygiene and health and safety at all times

·         Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.

·         Preparing ingredients for the team

·         Helping with deliveries of stock

·         To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.

·         To learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the department.

Duty Manager


Looking for someone with hospitality experience to join our team as a duty manager. You will be responsible for general operations whilst on shift and helping out in various departments as necessary to ensure everything runs smoothly and the customer receives the best experience possible.



·         Ensure ‘friendly and efficient’ service to customers at all times

·         Carry out duty manager shifts as per the rota set by the general manager

·         As duty manager to take responsibility for the smooth running and standards of all departments, dealing with guest and staff queries and problems and communicating back to relevant managers

·         To manage hotel staff in a manner that meets company standards and maintains standards of discipline

·         To ensure that all relevant information is communicated at the end of a shift to the next duty manager

·         Carry out regular security/standards checks of the whole hotel whilst on duty dealing with any potential problems immediately

·         Monitor departments regularly to ensure procedures are running smoothly and to pre-empt any problems

·         Take conference and function enquiries/bookings when required and communicate information to events manager

·         Use weekly function sheets to ensure that functions run smoothly when you’re on duty. Meet and liaise with event organisers to ensure they have all the facilities and services they require

·         To carry out professional show rounds of potential clients when required

·         Maintain a high level of product knowledge at all times to deal with customer queries efficiently

·         Ensure that all accounting procedures are followed accurately and deal with any problems or queries immediately.

·         To ensure that all departments are ‘cashed-up’ at the end of the day and that the appropriate reports have been run

·         Observe all health, safety, hygiene and security regulations and report all problems immediately

·         Maintain a good relationship with all departments

·         Attend training sessions, courses (on and off job) and meetings as required by the company

House Keeping Supervisor


We are looking for an experienced housekeeper to come and lead up our friendly and hardworking team to ensure the efficiency and smooth running of the Housekeeping department on a day to day basis and maintain the cleanliness standards throughout all the hotel bedrooms and public areas.



·         Ensure ‘friendly and efficient’ service to guests at all times

·         Compile and operate appropriate staff rotas for the housekeeping department

·         Ensure all bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas are cleaned daily to the standards required

·         Ensure bedrooms are adequately equipped with additional items to the standards required

·         Ensure all housekeeping cupboards are clean and tidy and that safety standards are maintained

·         Regularly check all equipment in rooms and public areas and liaise with manager/front of house/maintenance to ensure broken, missing or faulty items are dealt with as soon as possible

·         Maintain and manage stock levels of linen to ensure a continuity of supply, issuing linen to correct departments

·         Ensure all dirty and reject linen is put away on a daily basis and dirty linen sheets are sent to the linen supplier at the required times

·         Ensure incoming linen is counted and recorded accurately, checking against dirty linen reports and dealing with any discrepancies immediately

·         To ensure all equipment is used with care and adhering to safety standards

·         Ensure the correct cleaning chemicals are used for the job in hand, economically, according to manufacturer’s instructions and complying with relevant safety and COSHH standards

·         Maintain security procedures concerning guests belongings and accommodation

·         To conserve energy where possible to help minimise utility bills

·         To identify training needs and train all new housekeeping staff to the required standards

·         Liaise with manager to ensure a continuous supply of adequate cleaning chemicals, bedroom supplies and miscellaneous items

·         Organise regular seasonal deep cleaning of all hotel areas

·         Maintain a good relationship with all departments, in particular, reception, ensuring they have up to date information at all times

·         Maintain positive relationships within the housekeeping department

·         Attend training sessions, courses and meetings as required by the company
